While the Chinese name sounds more grand (天涯.明月.刀), the official English name is simply called The Magic Sword. Based on the Hong Kong classic by deceased novelist Gu Long, this MMO version will developed by 1 of Tencent’s studios, Aurora.
The game will be officially unveiled at the annual Tencent Games Festival later today. This is Tencent’s 3rd upcoming martial arts MMO, including Blade & Soul China.
Truth to be told, there is no information about the game now since it is supposedly to be still under wraps, yet the videos seen here were released… In related news, the game apparently has a special team of 4 big names from the Chinese film industry acting as consultants during development.
2 of the more famous ones are Peter Chan and Yuen Woo-ping (this guy is the real stuff). Look forward to the game features being posted here once they are announced!
