Black Gold Online – New trailer despite uncertain release date
A joint effort between Russian game developer Mental Games and China’s Snail Game (Age of Wushu), Black Gold Online has been advertised for the 2 above regions, as well as North America under Snail Games USA.
However, with the China server still yet to enter any beta phases, there is a lingering feeling in me the marketing started way too early.
Black Gold Online, graphically, looks mighty fine to me when I gave the demo a short run during my time at Gamescom 2012. The gameplay still needs adjusting and bug fixing, and already there are folks calling it “China’s Guild Wars 2″.
Will it live up to that title, seeing that Guild Wars 2 is landing in China next year?
