Age of Wulin (CN) - Tour of Er Mei

Er Mei is actually written out as "Emei", but I thought I should type it as 2 words to reflect the correct real-world spoken pitch. Located on top of Mount Er Mei which is an actual place in China, the clan in Louis Cha's martial novels was founded by Guo Xiang, the little girl who adored Yang Guo in Return of the Condor Heroes. Compared to Shaolin and Wudang, I find the location much, much bigger.

Starting off, players from this clan will be using 1-handed daggers. Similar to Wudang using dual swords from the beginning, the choice of weapon is no doubt, weird. But what I had in mind was that the developers did not want players to immediately jump into the various famous single-sword skill sets.

Pardon my ignorance, but is this clan female-only? o.o I'm see a bunch of females npc in the videos.

Where is Tang Meng gawd dzamit? >.> Really wanna see it. ^^

I've been likeing this MMO watching the "Documentary" but now that i'm seeing your videos, i think the combact system is slow and old >.<

@megalollo: that's because of two reasons, firstly because cinderboy posted combat vids with general mobs, which is rather stale as he said so himself. Secondly, you don't expect that someone will learn the master skills in just a few days, the skills shown are just the beginner skills of those clans. The combat system is indeed slow, because they didn't wanted the combat to become a faceroll-on-keyboard. But I don't think they are old. Anyway, the game is still not polished, so don't make a mindset just yet.

a lot of running in this game with no auto-location

The combat definitely isn't twitch based. I wonder how much of player skills will matter in PvP

That's becuz of the Miracle chance system which they have... if auto-path/ locate, you'll bump into alot of interactive npc, which will make them, 'angry at your char' which reduces your chances to improve your relation with them to give you the miracle chance to get something.... Of course you don't want that ! But, I'm sure there will implement some sort of draw your own auto-path on the mini-map or something in the future. Remember, it's still just a beta!
